We try to live for the big moments in our life, those big dots in our journey—winning that prize, getting that promotion, finding love and getting married, the birth of our children, owning the big house, going on that holiday.
We feel that once we have achieved that big moment… then… everything will be alright… then… we will have everything figured out… then… we won’t have any worries or fears.
We are all busy racing to an imaginary finishing line, and we are exhausted trying to get there.
Life isn’t about big moments, it is about all the little beautiful moments—it is about what happens in-between the big moments. Big moments will come and go, but the in-between will always be there. If we are continuously racing to each big moment, we will miss the in-between.
The in-between is life.
Love the in-between and live immediately.
